Below are our terms and conditions of sale to which all purchases are subject to, should you have any questions please contact us.
The following applies to all new parts and remanufactured parts.
Returns procedure:
Before returning goods please read our Terms and Conditions.
If you need to return any item we will happily refund or exchange it, provided it is within 7 days of delivery, in its original packaging and with proof of purchase.
To return an item you must first contact Charlton Volvo Centre either by email info@volvospares.co.uk or by telephone. We will authorize the return. Returns that have not been authorized will not be accepted. Let us know which item(s) you would like to return and your personal details. Package your item(s) securely, returning in the original outer packaging where possible.All items returned by post (unless faulty) are returned at your cost. We advise that you obtain a certificate of posting when returning items by post.
Parts returned for credit must be returned in a resaleable condition and in their original packaging. Items fitted cannot be refunded if correctly supplied.
Electrical units cannot be returned for credit if they have been fitted.
If you purchase a product which is found to be faulty we will (depending on the item) supply a replacement product, or give you a refund of the purchase price as appropriate.
Shortages or damaged goods: All orders should be checked immediately upon receipt. Shortages or damaged items must be reported within 24 hours.
• All parts orders cancelled within 7 days (commencing the day after receipt of the goods) will be credited in full. Any parts that have been correctly supplied and are cancelled after this period may be subject to a 25% minimum handling charge. Damaged or faulty goods may still be credited after the 7 day period dependant on the circumstance.
• All parts being returned for credit must be in a re-saleable condition. Items will not be accepted if they appear to have been fitted or if sealant grease has been applied (with the exception of faulty goods).
• All parts and accessories from Charlton Volvo Centre are guaranteed. Please check individual specification and guarantee available for the product at the time of purchase.

Parts correctly supplied and then returned are subject to a 25% handling charge. Proof of purchase required.
All parts returned by courier must be clean and free from oil, correctly labeled and properly packaged to avoid damage.
Items returned for refund must have a copy of invoice or a covering letter stating the original invoice number.
Warranties cover parts only, we do not compensate for labour charges.
Exchange Remanufactured Units Explained :
Many of our parts are remanufactured and are sold on an exchange basis so they can be completely remanufactured and sold on as a remanufactured part again, therefore, to ensure we receive the old unit back in a re-manufacturable condition we add a refundable deposit to the price of each unit which can vary in price depending on the item to be remanufactured.
Deposit amounts are shown with the details of each exchange unit description, the refundable deposit will be added to the advertised price of the remanufactured unit once you have added the product to your shopping basket.
What is considered a remanufacturable unit?
We cannot accept units for return that the following conditions apply:
· Broken or cracked casings
· A unit that is different from the one supplied
· Incomplete or missing parts
Returning old exchange units for the deposit refund:
Return the old unit back to us for a refund, as long as the item is in a remanufacturable condition we will process your refund. Please ensure that you include a copy of your original invoice or covering letter with your invoice number.
All units returned by courier must be clean and free from oil or grease, correctly labeled and properly packaged to avoid damage. |
